Terms & conditions
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms apply when you use houseofcadence.com or book a service with The House of Cadence in St. Albert, Alberta. By booking or using the site, you agree to them.
Booking
Appointments are booked online through Square. Prices and times shown on our website are a guide; the price you see when you book is the price you'll pay. All sets start with a consultation, and the final look may be adjusted to suit your natural lashes and eyes.
Deposits
A $20 deposit holds your first appointment. It isn't an extra fee: it stays on file and carries over to each appointment after that, so you only pay it once. If you decide to stop booking, we'll refund it.
Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. For cancellations within 48 hours or missed appointments, we keep the deposit, and a new $20 deposit is needed to book again.
Late arrivals
If you're running more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your service or reschedule so the next client isn't kept waiting. A quick text always helps.
Your health and safety
Before your first appointment you'll fill out a lash consent form through Square. Please tell us about any allergies, eye conditions, sensitivities, recent eye procedures or pregnancy. We may decline or postpone a service if we think it isn't safe for you. Results and retention vary from person to person and depend on your natural lashes and aftercare.
Aftercare
Following the aftercare we go over with you, including keeping your lashes clean, helps your set last. Fills are recommended every 2 to 3 weeks.
Gift cards
House of Cadence eGift cards are sold and managed through Square. Their value doesn't expire. Gift cards can't be exchanged for cash except where the law requires it. Please keep your card safe; we can't replace lost or stolen cards.
Photos
We may photograph your lashes to show our work on our website and social media, as explained in our Privacy policy. Just let us know if you'd prefer we don't share yours.
Website content
The text, photos, logos and design on this website belong to The House of Cadence and can't be copied or used without permission. Links to other websites, like Square or Instagram, are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content.
Liability
We take great care with every service. To the extent the law allows, The House of Cadence isn't liable for indirect losses, or for reactions or results caused by information that wasn't shared with us, or by not following aftercare. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Alberta consumer protection law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
